In the case of a state beginning an EB period, the State Workforce Agency will furnish a written notice of potential entitlement to each individual who has exhausted all rights to regular benefits and is potentially eligible for EB (20 CFR 615.13(c)(1)).     Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended, an 
investigation was initiated on February 18, 2009 in response to a 
worker petition filed by an official of a Missouri State workforce 
office on behalf of workers of The Doe-Run Company, St. Louis, 
Missouri.
    The petitioner has requested that the petition be withdrawn. 
Consequently, the investigation has been terminated.
