Interested parties who wish to request
a hearing, or to participate if one is

days after the date of publication of this
notice. See 19 CFR 351.310(c). Requests
should contain the party’s name,
address, and telephone number, the
number of participants, and a list of the
issues to be discussed. At the hearing,
each party may make an affirmative
presentation only on issues raised in
that party’s case brief and may make
rebuttal presentations only on
arguments included in that party’s
rebuttal brief.
Postponement of Final Determination
and Extension of Provisional Measures

Pursuant to section 735(a)(2) of the
Act, on February 23, 2009, Wireking
requested that in the event of an
affirmative preliminary determination
in this investigation, the Department
postpone its final determination by 60
days. Wireking also requested that the
Department extend the application of
the provisional measures prescribed
under 19 CFR 351.210(e)(2) from a 4month period to a 6-month period. In
accordance with section 733(d) of the
Act and 19 CFR 351.210(b), because (1)
our preliminary determination is
affirmative, (2) the requesting exporter
accounts for a significant proportion of
exports of the subject merchandise, and
(3) no compelling reasons for denial
exist, we are granting the request and
are postponing the final determination
until no later than 135 days after the
publication of this notice in the Federal
Register. Suspension of liquidation will
be extended accordingly.
This determination is issued and published
in accordance with sections 733(f) and
777(i)(1) of the Act.

collection requests. OMB may amend or
waive the requirement for public
consultation to the extent that public
participation in the approval process
would defeat the purpose of the
information collection, violate State or
Federal law, or substantially interfere
with any agency’s ability to perform its
statutory obligations. The Director,
Regulatory Information Management
Services, Office of Management,
publishes that notice containing
proposed information collection
requests prior to submission of these
requests to OMB. Each proposed
information collection, grouped by
office, contains the following: (1) Type
of review requested, e.g. new, revision,
extension, existing or reinstatement; (2)
Title; (3) Summary of the collection; (4)
Description of the need for, and
proposed use of, the information; (5)

Abstract: The Local Flexibility
Demonstration (Local-Flex) program

Act (ESEA) in order to meet the State’s
definition of adequate yearly progress
and attain specific measurable goals for
improving student achievement and
narrowing achievement gaps. The
application package contains
information applicants will need to
prepare and submit their Local-Flex
proposals.
