The Department of Energy (DOE) is adopting new energy conservation standards for commercial ice-cream freezers; self- contained commercial refrigerators, commercial freezers, and commercial refrigerator-freezers without doors; and remote condensing commercial refrigerators, commercial freezers, and commercial refrigerator- freezers. DOE has determined that energy conservation standards for these types of equipment would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified.

As required by the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. 552a, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130, the Department of Energy including the National Nuclear Security Agency (NNSA) (hereinafter referred to collectively as ``DOE'' or ``the Department'') is publishing its compilation of Privacy Act Systems of Records. This notice provides an accurate and complete text of the agency's systems of records, and adopts many of the recommendations that were made to DOE in comments that were submitted concerning proposed amendments to the compilation published by DOE on April 2, 2008.
