1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35) requires
that the Office of Management and

Federal agencies and the public an early
opportunity to comment on information
collection requests. OMB may amend or

consultation to the extent that public
participation in the approval process
would defeat the purpose of the
information collection, violate State or
Federal law, or substantially interfere
with any agency’s ability to perform its

Abstract: The RSA–722 is needed to
meet specific data collection
requirements in Subsections
102(c)(8)(A) and (B) of the Rehab Act of
1973, as amended on the number of
requests for mediation, hearings and
reviews filed. The information collected
is used to evaluate the types of
complaints made by applicants for and
eligible individuals of the vocational
rehabilitation program and the final
resolution of appeals filed. Respondents
are State agencies that administer the
Federal/State Program for Vocational
Rehabilitation.
