Description: A Developmental
Disabilities Council Program
Performance Report is required by
federal statute. Each State
Developmental Disabilities Council
must submit an annual report for the
preceding fiscal year of activities and
accomplishments. Information provided
in the Program Performance Report will
be used (1) in the preparation of the
biennial Report to the President, the
Congress, and the National Council on
Disabilities and (2) to provide a national
perspective on program
accomplishments and continuing
challenges. This information will also
be used to comply with requirements in
the Government Performance and
Results Act of 1993.

This notice announces the following
meeting: Bisphenol A (BPA)
Subcommittee of the Science Board to
the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) meeting. The topic to be
discussed is the draft assessment of BPA
for use in food contact applications. The
Subcommittee will hear and discuss the
draft assessment of BPA for use in food
contact applications, including oral
presentations from the public.

Agenda: The Subcommittee will hear
and discuss the draft assessment of BPA
for use in food contact applications,
including oral presentations from the
public. FDA’s draft assessment of BPA
and FDA’s charge to the Subcommittee

FDA intends to make background
material available to the public no later
than 2 business days before the meeting.
If FDA is unable to post the background

Procedure: Interested persons may
present data, information, or views,
orally or in writing, on issues pending
before the Subcommittee. Written

Oral presentations from the public will
be scheduled between approximately 11
a.m. and 12 noon and between
approximately 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on
September 16, 2008. Those desiring to
make formal oral presentations should
notify the contact person and submit a
brief statement of the general nature of
the evidence or arguments they wish to
present, the names and addresses of
proposed participants, and an
indication of the approximate time
requested to make their presentation on
or before September 4, 2008. Time
allotted for each presentation may be
limited. If the number of registrants

Pursuant to section 10(a) of the
Federal Advisory Committee Act, as
amended (5 U.S.C. Appendix 2), notice
is hereby given of a meeting of the
Services Subcommittee of the
Interagency Autism Coordinating
Committee (IACC).
The purpose of the Services
Subcommittee is to review the current
state of services and supports for
individuals with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) and their families in
order to improve these services. The
Subcommittee meeting will be
conducted as a telephone conference
call with presentations on the Web. This
meeting is open for the public to call in
to listen and to access the Web
presentations. The Subcommittee will
report on its meeting at the next meeting
of the IACC on November 21, 2008.
