This study will specifically examine the impact of SiS on student achievement and on school practices associated with school improvement. The primary data collection will include a teacher survey assessing school improvement practices (data-based decision-making, practices associated with improved student achievement, shared leadership, and purposeful community) and student achievement data. Data collection will occur over a two-year period. Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) will be used to determine the effects of SiS on school-level student achievement and school-level reform practices. At this meeting, members of the Committee will be sworn in and will discuss the purpose and responsibilities of the Committee. Committee members will select a Committee Chair, develop procedures for completing the tasks described in its charter, and plan future meetings. To the extent practicable, Committee members will begin the work described in the charter, including but not limited to reviewing applications for the Targeted Assistance Grants (TAG). ArcLight Energy Marketing, LLC. (AEM) filed an application for marketbased rate authority, with an accompanying tariff. The proposed market-based rate tariff provides for the sale of energy, capacity and ancillary services at market-based rates. AEM also requested waivers of various Commission regulations. In particular, AEM requested that the Commission grant blanket approval under 18 CFR part 34 of all future issuances of securities and assumptions of liability by AEM. On July 25, 2007, pursuant to delegated authority, the Director, Division of Tariffs and Market Development—West, granted the requests for blanket approval under part 34 (Director’s Order).
