Bush signed Executive Order 13201 (EO 13201) on February 17, 2001 to require nonexempt Government contractors and subcontractors to post notices informing their employees that under Federal law those employees have certain rights related to union membership and use of union dues and fees. The Order also provides the text of contractual provisions that Federal Government contracting departments and agencies must include in every non-exempt Government contract. The contractual provisions require contractors to post a notice, informing employees that they cannot be required to join a union or maintain membership in a union as a condition of employment and that portion of dues or fees not used for collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance adjustment may be refunded to the employee. The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) administers the complaint and waiver request procedures of Executive Order 13201 pursuant to its implementing regulatory provisions (29 CFR part 470). This information collection is currently approved for use through November 30, 2007. II.
