Application for Reconsideration
Pursuant to 29 CFR 90.18(C) an
application for administrative
reconsideration was filed with the
Director of the Division of Trade
Adjustment Assistance for workers at
C.A. Lawton Company, Machinery
Division, De Pere, Wisconsin. The
application did not contain new
information supporting a conclusion
that the determination was erroneous,
and also did not provide a justification
for reconsideration of the determination
that was based on either mistaken facts
or a misinterpretation of facts or of the
law. Therefore, dismissal of the
application was issued.
Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade
Act of 1974, as amended, an
investigation was initiated on March 27,
2007 in response to a worker petition
filed by a state agency on behalf of
workers at Ferguson Enterprises,
Portland, Oregon.
The petitioner has requested that the
petition be withdrawn. Consequently,
the investigation has been terminated.

Assistance on September 28, 2005,
applicable to workers of Sara Lee
Branded Apparel, Division Office,
Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The
notice was published in the Federal
Register on October 31, 2005 (70 FR
62347).
At the request of a company official,
the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject
firm. The workers at the Division Office,
Winston-Salem, North Carolina location
were engaged in activities related to the
production of underwear (shorts and Tshirts). New information shows that
Sara Lee Branded Apparel was formerly
known as National Textiles and is
currently known as Hanesbrands, Inc.
