SUMMARY: In accordance with section 10(a)(2) of Public Law 92–463, The Federal Advisory Committee Act, announcement is made of the following meeting: Name of Committee: DoD Task Force on Mental Health, a Subcommittee of the Armed Forces Epidemiological Board. Dates: October 19, 2006 (Open Session), October 20, 2006 (Afternoon— Open Session). Times: 0800–1700 (October 19, 2006); 1200–1700 (October 20, 2006). Agenda: The purpose of the meeting is to obtain, review, and evaluate information related to the Mental Health Task Force’s congressionally-directed task of assessing the efficacy of mental health services provided to members of the Armed Forces by the Department of Defense. The Task Force members will receive briefings on topics related to mental health concerns among military service members and mental health care delivery. The Task Force will hold a ‘‘Town Hall Meeting’’ session to hear concerns from the Navy San Diego community and conduct an executive working session. SUMMARY: Interested persons are invited to submit comments on or before December 5, 2006. DATES: Section 3506 of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35) requires that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) provide interested Federal agencies and the public an early opportunity to comment on information collection requests. OMB may amend or waive the requirement for public consultation to the extent that public participation in the approval process would defeat the purpose of the information collection, violate State or Federal law, or substantially interfere with any agency’s ability to perform its statutory obligations. The IC Clearance Official, Regulatory Information Management Services, Office of Management, publishes that notice containing proposed information collection requests prior to submission of these requests to OMB. The CCD also collects information about the occurrence of high school dropouts. Information about teachers and staffing is also collected.
