licensee filed an amendment
application to install a new low flow
turbine generator unit, which would be
located within an addition of the
existing powerhouse. The project
currently generates electricity using two
generating units that are able to utilize
flows between 200–650 cfs each. The
proposed low flow unit will allow the
project to operate during low flow
winter months when the existing
generating units do not operate. New
construction would be limited to a small
expansion of the existing powerhouse
and tailrace.
