Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on June 15, 2004, applicable to 
workers of the WestPoint Stevens, Inc., Longview Plant, Bed Products 
Division, Hickory, North Carolina. The notice was published in the 
Federal Register on July 7, 2004 (69 FR 40983). On April 8, 2005, in 
accordance with Section 246 of the Trade Act of 1974 (26 U.S.C. 2813), 
the same worker group was issued a Certification of Eligibility to 
Apply for Alternative Trade Adjustment Assistance. The notice was 
published in the Federal Register on May 16, 2005 (70 FR 25864).
    At the request of a company official, the Department reviewed the 
certification for workers of the subject firm. The workers are engaged 
in the production of comforters.
    Information submitted to the Department shows that on August 8,

and is now known as WestPoint Home, Inc.
