(OMB) for review and approval in
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104–13,
44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). A copy of each

including the validity of the
methodology and assumptions used;
• Enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and
• Minimize the burden of the
collection of information on those who
are to respond, including through the
use of appropriate automated,
electronic, mechanical, or other
technological collection techniques or
other forms of information technology,
e.g., permitting electronic submission of
responses.

Facilitation of Claimant Reemployment.

Total Burden Hours: 2,120.

Total annual costs (operating/
maintaining systems or purchasing
services): $79,500.
Description: The Department of Labor
requests approval to establish a system
to collect data at the state level on the
percentage of individuals who become
reemployed in the calendar quarter
subsequent to the quarter in which they
receive their Unemployment Insurance
(UI) payment. This data will be used to
measure performance for the
Department’s Government Performance
and Results Act of 1993 goal of
facilitating the reemployment of UI
claimants.
