Abstract The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is requesting renewal of an existing collection that is used to ensure the proper disposition of rights to inventions made in the course of NASA-funded research. With this collection NASA tracks all inventions that are disclosed by grant recipients. Information is required to ensure the proper disposition of rights to inventions made in the course of NASAfunded research. The requirement is codified in 14 CFR 1260.28. The legislative authorities are 43 U.S.C. 2451 et seq., and 35 U.S.C. 200 et seq. Grant provisions require that recipients include a list of all inventions required to be disclosed in their annual Performance Report. II. Method of Collection NASA utilizes paper and electronic methods to collect information from collection respondents. III. Data Title: Patents—Grants and Cooperative Agreements. OMB Number: 2700–0048. Type of review: Revision of a currently approved collection. Affected Public: Not-for-profit institutions; Business or other for-profit; State, local, or tribal government.
