Section 26-8 - Common Core of Skills

Each school shall establish student performance standards at developmentally appropriate levels in the following common core of skills. Programs shall be established and may be interdisciplinary. Assessment of student performance shall be included in these programs. Instruction may be infused into the programs established in the Common Core of Knowledge.

(a) Problem Solving;

(b) Interpersonal Communications;

(c) Keyboarding and Technological Applications;

(d) Critical Thinking;

(e) Creativity;

(f) Life Skills; including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training.
