(a) These rules are adopted to provide guidance to Wyoming's livestock industry, including producers, veterinarians, markets, livestock inspectors, and the public, regarding the prevention of and surveillance for Brucellosis to ensure the health and marketability of Wyoming livestock. These rules further acknowledge and address the ongoing disease exposure of cattle to Brucellosis in infected wildlife for the foreseeable future. It is imperative that we be proactive in Brucellosis prevention and surveillance efforts.
