Chapter 9 - DIVORCE REGISTRATION
Section 9-1 - Responsibility of the Clerk of District Court

The clerk of the district court or a designated representative shall:
(a) Obtain the personal information necessary to complete the divorce certificate from the attorney for the plaintiff or the plaintiff if he or she has no legal representative;
(b) Complete all items of the divorce certificate;
(c) Sign the certificate.
