Section 2-2 - Removal

The local registrar or the deputy local registrar of vital records may be removed by the State Registrar for reasonable cause, including but not limited to failure to carry out the provisions of the vital records act or applicable regulations. Notification of such action shall be in writing and shall be sent to the person so removed by certified mail.
