Chapter 5 - CONFINED POPULATION
Section 5-2 - Health Officer or Designee Action

(a) Determine from the prisoners record and/or personal interview whether the individual is at risk for a sexually transmitted disease.

(b) May isolate prisoner(s) with treatable sexually transmitted diseases within the facility to prevent the spread of infection.

(c) Provide prisoner(s) infected with a curable sexually transmitted disease(s) with the minimum medical care and treatment to affect a cure.

(d) In the case of individuals(s) infected with an incurable sexually transmitted disease, provide for the minimum care and treatment of the individual(s).
