Section 8-14 - Information Used For Determination

At any stage of the admission certification process, including an appeal, the reviewer may make a decision based on the information provided by the attending physician or hospital, or, in the reviewers sole discretion, the reviewer may request and refer to additional facts submitted by the attending physician or hospital. Such information shall be submitted at the expense of the provider.
