Chapter 28 - REIMBURSEMENT OF SWING-BED SERVICES
Section 28-10 - Determination of Medical Eligibility

All applicants or clients shall undergo an evaluation of medical necessity pursuant to Chapter 22, Evaluation of Medical Necessity for Medicaid Long Term Care Program, before a hospital may receive Medicaid reimbursement for services provided to an individual in a swing-bed. The evaluation is conducted pursuant to Medicaid policy and manual.
