Chapter 11 - MEDICAL DIRECTORS STIPENDS
Section 11-5 - Eligibility Requirements

To receive the monthly stipend, a Physician Medical Director shall contract with the Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) and shall:
(a) Serve as the medical liaison between the ambulance service and the OEMS;
(b) Attend the OEMS's medical director's training program once during the two (2) year period;
(c) Participate in, at a minimum, a one (1) hour quarterly meeting with the ambulance service in order to review patient care reports of patients transported by the ambulance service;
(d) Participate in a quarterly telephone conference call with the OEMS's Medical Director;
(e) Attend, once during the biennium for which the stipend funds were issued, the OEMS's annual Wyoming Trauma Conference;
(f) Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the OEMS's Medical Director; and
(g) Participate in other activities that would occur infrequently but would require the expertise and presence of the physician medical director for their identified ambulance service.
