Section 3 - Policy to Cover All Losses Caused by Cancer

No expense reimbursement policy of cancer insurance shall exclude from coverage any prescribed or necessary medical costs or expenses proximately caused by the disease of cancer or its diagnosis and treatment, nor shall any insurer attempt to circumvent this section by providing that the insurer's liability under the policy only extends to losses resulting from "definitive cancer treatment'' or "direct extension, metastatic spread or recurrence" or words of similar import.
