Chapter 20 - PERMITTING, DESIGN AND OPERATION STANDARDS CONFINED SWINE FEEDING OPERATIONS
Part F - FINANCIAL ASSURANCE STANDARDS
Section 20-46 - Purpose

The purpose of this part of these regulations is to establish financial assurance requirements in accordance with W.S. 35-11-302(a)(ix). Permittees of all confined swine feeding operations permitted under Chapter 20, Water Quality Division Rules and Regulations shall provide financial assurance for relinquished facility closure, and corrective actions. The amount shall be adequate for corrective action, closure and post-closure requirements, as required by these regulations and the Administrator. Nothing in these regulations shall relieve the permittee of confined swine feeding operations of liability for closure and corrective action costs. Violation of any of the financial assurance requirements of these regulations shall be cause for revocation of a bond or other form of financial assurance and the denial or revocation of the permit.
