Chapter 17 - STORAGE TANKS
Part A - STORAGE TANK SYSTEMS INTRODUCTION
Section 17-4 - Applicability

The requirements of this chapter apply to all owners and/or operators of storage tank systems as defined in W.S. 35-11-1415; except that Parts B, C, D, E, and G of this chapter do not apply for any of the following types of UST systems:
(a) Wastewater treatment tank systems;
(b) Any UST system containing radioactive materials that are regulated under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended ( 42 U.S.C. 2011 and following);
(c) Any UST system that is part of an emergency generator system at nuclear power generation facilities regulated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission under 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix A;
(d) Airport hydrant fuel distribution systems; and
(e) UST systems with field-constructed tanks.
