Chapter 11 - OPERATION OF VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDERS SERVING VICTIMS OF ALL CRIMES PROGRAMS
Section 11-6 - Services and Availability

(a) Programs shall minimally provide, make available, or assist victims with the following:
(i) Crisis intervention by advocates
immediately after a crime;
(ii)
Assistance and support during criminal justice proceedings, including
post-conviction assistance;
(iii)
Information on compensation and assistance in filing claims;
(iv) Emergency financial and shelter
assistance;
(v) Provide referrals
to other service providers as needed; and
(vi) Assistance in securing victims rights
and intervening as needed with employers, creditors and others.
(b) Programs shall have a public office and availability of services shall be publicized in the program's service area.
