Section 4-23 - Surface Skimmers and Perimeter Overflow Gutter Systems, Design

(a) Surface skimmers and perimeter overflow gutter systems shall:
(i) Be provided,
designed and constructed to skim the surface of the pool or spa water when the
water level is maintained within the operating water level range of the systems
rim or weir device.
(ii) The
operating water level for perimeter overflow gutter systems shall:
(A) Be slightly over the overflow gutter lip;
and
(B) In the case of surface
skimmers, within the vertical operating range of the skimmers.
