The department shall notify all recognized American Indian tribes or bands in this state of complete applications under subch. II, III, or IV. For an application requiring regional body review or Great Lakes council approval, the department shall consult with federally recognized American Indian tribes or bands in this state concerning a proposal that may affect the tribe or band.
