The purpose of this chapter is to establish an application process, requirements, and department review procedures related to diversions of Great Lakes basin water, in compliance with ss. 281.343 and 281.346, Stats., and consistent with the requirements of the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact.
