Abbreviations and symbols of units of measure used in chs. NR 400 to 499 are defined as follows:

(1) System international (SI) units of measure:

(a) "A" - ampere

(am) "g" - gram

(b) "Hz" - hertz

(bm) "J" - joule

(c) "K" - degree Kelvin

(cm) "kg" - kilogram

(d) "kPa" - kilo pascal (1.0 kPa = 0.15 psia)

(dm) "m" - meter

(e) "m 2" - square meter

(em) "m 3" - cubic meter

(f) "mg" - milligram-10 -3 gram

(fm) "Mg" - megagram-10 6 gram

(g) "mm" - millimeter-10 -3 meter

(gm) "mol" - mole
