(1) An unlicensed individual may assist in the practice of speech-language pathology or audiology only under the direct supervision of a speech-language pathologist or audiologist, as appropriate.
(2) For purposes of supervising unlicensed individuals who assist in the practice of speech-language pathology or audiology:
(a) A
speech-language pathologist may supervise up to 2 full-time equivalent
individuals at any given time.
(b)
Except as provided in par. (c), an audiologist may supervise up to 5 full-time
equivalent individuals at any given time.
(c) In industrial settings, an audiologist
may supervise up to 10 full-time equivalent individuals at any given
time.
