Section ATCP 140.16 - Hearing notices

Notice of hearing on any proposal to adopt, amend or repeal a marketing order shall be given as provided under ss. 96.06 and 227.17, Stats. The department may issue such press releases or public announcements concerning the hearings as it may consider appropriate. The times and places of hearing shall be determined at the discretion of the secretary and be included in the hearing notice. The hearing notice may also specify a deadline date after the conclusion of the hearings for filing written comments on the proposal. Written comments received on or before the deadline date shall be included in the hearing record.
