The hospital or an interested party may request a public hearing to be held on an application. A request for a public hearing must be received by the Authority within thirty (30) days of the receipt by the Authority of the application or the publication of the legal advertisement as required by subsections 6.7 or 9.4 whichever is later. The Authority, if it considers necessary, may hold a public hearing on any application. Such hearing shall be held no later than forty-five (45) days after receipt of the application unless good cause is shown to hold the hearing at a later date.
