The impact of this policy is that the following individuals may be assigned to teach economics as part of the social studies graduation requirement:

4.1. Any teacher holding a valid professional certificate endorsed for social studies, grades 7-12.

4.2. Any teacher holding a valid professional certificate endorsed for business education or business principles, grades 7-12 in accordance with the educational personnel development plan.
