Section 126-27-1 - General

1.1. Scope. -- This legislative rule establishes standards for administration of all medication in the West Virginia public school system.

1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Constitution, Article XII, §2 and W. Va. Code §§ 18-1-1, 18-2-5, 18-5-22, 18-5-22a, 18-5-22b, 18-5-22c, 18A-4-8, and 30-7-1, et seq.

1.3. Filing Date. -- September 8, 2016.

1.4. Effective Date. -- October 11, 2016.

1.5. Repeal of Former Rule. -- This legislative rule amends W. Va. 126 CSR 27, West Virginia Board of Education Policy 2422.8, Medication Administration (2422.8), filed December 12, 2013 and effective January 13, 2014.
