8.1. Any accident involving the driver education vehicle shall be reported by the driver education teacher and handled by the county board immediately. If the incident involves student and/or teacher injury, it shall be reported to the WVDE Legal Services unit as soon as possible. All accidents shall be reported within five days to the WVDE Legal Services unit. In the event the driver education teacher is incapacitated and cannot report, the principal or principal's designee shall fulfill this responsibility.
