18.1. Inasmuch as their contents are being incorporated into revised policies, the following State Board policies have been repealed as part of the implementation of S.B. 300 and accompanying policy changes:
State Social Studies Program of Studies
Criteria of Excellence: Instructional Goals and Objectives for Mathematics
Criteria of Excellence: Instructional Goals and Objectives for Social Studies
Criteria of Excellence: Instructional Goals and Objectives for English Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Spelling, Handwriting, Speaking, Listening, Viewing)

Plan developed prior to the passage of S.B. 300. The plan will be updated to reflect necessary changes. |
Student Attainment of Basic Computer Skills |

Replacement of the general curriculum with a system of career clusters and education majors |

Establishment of an individual student transition plan for every student for grades 9-12 plus the first year beyond graduation |

The center for professional development operates the principals academy. |

Higher education joint rule |
The higher education governing boards will prepare the required rule in consultation with the State Board and the Jobs Through Education Employer Panel. |

The State Board will establish procedures to convey this information to the high schools in the state. |
