Chapter 504-49 - RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEM INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Part V - GENERAL TOPICS
Section 504-49-515 - Are the renewable energy system's environmental attributes transferred when ownership of the renewable energy system changes?

Universal Citation: WA Admin Code 504-49-515
Current through Register Vol. 24-18, September 15, 2024

The nonpower attributes of the renewable energy system belong to the utility customer who owns or hosts the system or, in the case of a community solar project or a shared commercial solar project, the participant. The attributes may be kept, sold, or transferred at the utility customer's discretion unless, in the case of a utility-owned community solar or shared commercial solar project, a contract between the customer and the utility clearly specifies that the utility retains the attributes.
