The parties to conduct proceedings are typically the university and the respondent. In accordance with Student Governance and Policies, chapter 210, student conduct policy for discriminatory and sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, sexual misconduct, stalking, and retaliation, in cases involving discriminatory harassment, indecent exposure, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, stalking, or retaliation, the complainant is also a party. In addition, the university may designate other individuals, such as a complainant, as a party to other types of conduct proceedings, or allow individuals to intervene in conduct proceedings.
