Section 415-104-484 - Is my disability benefit reduced for early retirement?

If you retire for line of duty disability or catastrophic duty disability, your disability benefit will not be reduced for early retirement. If you retire for nonduty disability, your disability benefit will be actuarially reduced to reflect the difference in age at the time of disability retirement and age fifty-three. See WAC 415-02-320 for more information and examples on how the actuarial reduction is applied to your disability benefit.
