Section 388-145-1475 - What are the requirements for volunteers working directly with children and youth at my facility?

(1) These volunteers must meet the licensing requirements listed in this chapter, including meeting the qualifications for direct care staff and must:

(a) Be at least twenty-one years of age unless they are between eighteen and twenty-one years of age in an internship or practicum program as per WAC 388-145-1445; and

(b) Receive the facility's preservice training that addresses the needs of the population of children in care.
