Section 388-145-2095 - What steps must I take when a youth first enters an overnight youth shelter?

(1) When a youth first enters an overnight youth shelter, you must:
(a) Determine whether the parents are aware
of the whereabouts of the youth;
(b) Follow reporting requirements in WAC
388-145-1545; and
(c) Notify the police or children's
administration intake (either the local CPS number or toll-free 1-886-ENDHARM)
of any youth twelve years of age or younger who is unaccompanied by an adult
and is requesting service, and you are unable to serve the child due to his or
her age.
