Universal Citation: WA Admin Code 388-450-0225

Current through Register Vol. 24-06, March 15, 2024

(1) To calculate your AU's cash benefit for your first month's benefits, we compare your AU's countable income to the payment standard as described in WAC 388-450-0162.

(2) If your countable income is less than the payment standard, we prorate your grant amount based on the date you are eligible.

(3) We do not prorate any approved additional requirements.

(4) We prorate your grant by:

(a) Dividing your AU's grant amount by the number of days in the first month of eligibility; and

(b) Multiplying the result in (4)(a) of this section by the number of days from the date of eligibility to the last day of the month.
