The director, as the heating oil pollution liability insurance program administrator, is responsible for obtaining pollution liability insurance coverage on behalf of the named insureds: All owners of registered heating oil tanks as defined in this chapter. The pollution liability insurance policy will provide $60,000 coverage, including reinsurance, per occurrence, per site, per year and shall be in excess of other valid insurance and warranties. The policy will be reinsured through the pollution liability insurance agency trust account.
