Section 365-18-010 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to implement the long-term care ombudsman program as provided for in chapter 43.190 RCW and the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. § 3001 et seq., as amended). The overall purpose of the ombudsman program is to promote the interests, well-being, and rights of long-term care facility residents. These rules set forth the ombudsman program's authority and duties.
