Section 314-35-053 - Transportation

(1) No person may transport or cause to be transported vapor products for sale, except:
(a) A licensed distributor under chapter
70.345 RCW;
(b) A licensed retailer
under chapter 70.345 RCW;
(c) A
seller with a valid delivery sale license under chapter 70.345 RCW;
or
(d) A person who has given the
board advance notice of the commencement of transportation of vapor
products.
(2) When transporting vapor products for sale, the person must have, in their actual possession, invoices or delivery tickets for the vapor products that must show:
(a) The true name and address of the
consignor or seller;
(b) The true
name and address of the consignee or purchaser; and
(c) The number of items, size of each item in
mL, and brands of the vapor products being transported.
(3) In any case where the board has knowledge or reasonable grounds to believe that any vehicle is transporting vapor products in violation of this section or chapter 70.345 RCW, the board is authorized to stop the vehicle and to inspect for contraband vapor products.
