(1) This is a demonstration project for which there is no guarantee of additional funding beyond the 1999-2001 biennium.
(2) Renewal applications. If sufficient funds are available for renewal awards, previous recipients will be required to submit renewal applications to the board by the stated deadline. The renewal application will gather information from recipients such as:
(a) Confirmation that the applicant still
plans to become a teacher in a Washington K-12 public school after completion
of the initial teacher certification.
(b) Projected academic schedule of the
applicant for the upcoming enrollment period.
(c) Verification that the applicant is in
good standing and maintaining satisfactory academic progress according to the
institution's normal requirements.
