Chapter 246-296 - Drinking water state revolving fund loan program
Section 246-296-130 - Project priority rating and ranking criteria

The department shall, at a minimum, consider the following to assign points, and rate and rank proposed projects:
(1) Criteria for risk categories and points based on:
(a) Type and significance of public
health problems the project will resolve;
(b) If the project is needed to bring the
public water system into compliance with federal, state, and local drinking
water requirements; and
(c) Current
compliance status.
(2) Additional points based on the type of project being pro-posed if the project:
(a) Is ready to proceed to
construction;
(b) Completes
projects previously funded by DWARF grants or loans;
(c) Is to consolidate or restructure multiple
public water systems;
(d) Creates a
sustainable regional public health benefit;
(e) Is a water main replacement project that
coincides with other infrastructure projects;
(f) Qualifies as a green project;
or
(g) Serves a disadvantaged
community.
