Section 246-290-840 - Water use efficiency performance reports

(1) Municipal water suppliers shall develop an annual water use efficiency performance report and must:
(a) Send the water use efficiency performance
reports to the department and the consumers by July 1st of each year for the
previous year and make them available to the public;
(b) For systems serving one thousand or more
total connections, develop the first water use efficiency performance report by
July 1, 2008;
(c) For systems
serving less than one thousand total connections, develop the first water use
efficiency performance report by July 1, 2009; and
(d) Municipal water suppliers shall submit
performance reports in a manner specified by the department.
(2) Water use efficiency performance reports shall include:
(a) Total
annual production. Systems with multiple sources may provide aggregate
data;
(b) Annual water distribution
system leakage totals in accordance with WAC
246-290-820;
(c) A description of the system's water use
efficiency goals set in accordance with WAC
246-290-830;
(d) A schedule for achieving the
goals;
(e) A narrative description
of progress toward achieving the goals; and
(f) Report the status of meter installation
and all actions taken to minimize leakage.
