Section 246-272C-0240 - Additional requirements for pump tanks

(1) A sanitary tee or baffle is required when effluent is pumped into the pump tank.
(2) The sanitary tee or baffle for a pump tank must meet the following requirements:
(a) The inlet sanitary tee or baffle must be
installed on the inlet of the pump tank; and
(b) The inlet sanitary tee or baffle must
extend into the tank a minimum of eight inches below the invert elevation of
the inlet pipe.
