Chapter 246-205 - Decontamination of illegal drug manufacturing or storage sites
DECONTAMINATION CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION

(1) A contractor may advertise, offer to undertake, or perform decontamination, demolition, or disposal work at an illegal drug manufacturing or storage site only after securing a certificate from the department.
(2) Applicants for department certification as an authorized contractor, shall submit to the department:
(a) Evidence of being licensed, bonded, and
insured as a general contractor under the provisions of
chapter
18.27 RCW;
(b) Evidence of department certification for
each employee who will do work on an illegal drug manufacturing or storage
site;
(c) Documentation that the
contractor has at least one department certified supervisor and one department
certified worker;
(d) A completed
decontamination contractor application form; and
(e) A fee as prescribed in WAC
246-205-990.
